3. Supporter Accounts
A free supporter account lets you donate online, join the hearts leaderboard, track orders, receive chat replies, and manage notification preferences. We store your account email, name, and preferences through our authentication and database providers. You are responsible for keeping your password private.
4. Donations and Payments
Online donations are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store full payment card details on our servers. Merchandise purchases are fulfilled through our Shopify store and its checkout. Payment processors handle your information according to their own privacy policies.
5. Hearts Leaderboard and Monthly Giveaway
If you opt in, your account name and heart count may appear on the public Hearts Leaderboard. You earn one heart for every $1 donated or spent on merchandise. You can turn leaderboard recognition on or off at any time in your account settings. Monthly giveaway winners are chosen from opted-in participants and contacted by email or notification. Free thank-you gifts currently ship to United States addresses only, so we ask winners and reward earners for a U.S. shipping address when they claim a gift.
6. Notifications
If you choose to turn on notifications, we may send updates about orders and shipping, chat replies from our team, leaderboard changes, and occasional announcements. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device or browser settings. We store a device subscription token only as long as notifications remain enabled.
7. On-Site Chat
Our chat feature lets visitors and supporters send messages directly to our team. We collect the name and email you provide, your message content, and, for signed-in users, your account name and email so we can reply. Chat conversations are stored so our team can respond and keep track of requests.
