Pawsitivity Patrol is a kindness project powered by Dayton Pet Care. These Terms, Donations, and Store Policy apply to your use of PawsitivityPatrol.com and to any donations, purchases, or participation in our activities. By using this website, making a donation, buying merchandise, or attending one of our events, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or participate.
1. Who We Are
Pawsitivity Patrol is a community kindness project based in the Dayton, Ohio area. We are powered by our small business, Dayton Pet Care. We are not a registered charity and donations are not tax deductible at this time. Any reference to "we", "us", or "our" means Pawsitivity Patrol and Dayton Pet Care.
2. Donations, Sending Love, and Helping Someone Directly
Donations through our Support Hub — including "Send love" gifts and gifts to help someone directly — help fund our activities, including toys, goodies, Pawsitivity Cards, printing, supplies, and other costs. Donations are voluntary and are never required to interact with us in person.
All online donations are processed securely through Stripe. You may give one time or set up a recurring monthly gift. You can cancel a recurring gift at any time through your account or by contacting us.
Donations are treated as general support, not as payment for a specific service. Gifts marked for a specific person help us direct our kindness activities but are not held in a separate account for that individual.
In general, donations are not refundable. If a donation was made in error or for the wrong amount, please contact us at Support@PawsitivityPatrol.com within 7 days and we will review it case by case.
3. Supporter Accounts
A free supporter account is required to donate online. You are responsible for keeping your account details accurate and your password private. Your account name is used for optional leaderboard recognition as described below.
4. Hearts Leaderboard, Rewards, and Monthly Giveaway
Supporters earn hearts for their generosity: one heart for every $1 given or spent on merchandise. Hearts are a fun way to recognize kindness and have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and do not turn donations into purchases.
If you opt in, your account name and heart count may be shown on the Hearts Leaderboard. You can turn this on or off at any time in your account settings.
From time to time we run a monthly giveaway for leaderboard participants. Winners are chosen by our team and notified by email or notification with instructions to provide a shipping address. Prizes are thank-you gifts, not items for sale, and no purchase is necessary to be part of our community.
Free thank-you gifts — including giveaway prizes and reward shirts — currently ship only to addresses within the United States. If a winner or reward earner cannot provide a U.S. shipping address, we may offer an alternative recognition in place of the gift.
5. Notifications and Messages
If you turn on notifications on your device, we may send you updates such as order and shipping updates, chat replies from our team, leaderboard changes, and occasional announcements. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device or browser settings. Our on-site chat is for friendly communication — abusive, hateful, or inappropriate messages are not allowed.
6. Events and Safety
Pawsitivity Patrol events are intended to be family friendly and focused on joy, kindness, and encouragement. Participation in any event, activity, or interaction with our mascots or wagons is voluntary. Parents and guardians are fully responsible for supervising their own children at all times. Pet owners are fully responsible for their animals and must keep them under control and within local laws and leash rules. We do not provide childcare, pet care, or professional supervision at events.
7. Merchandise Sales
We sell Pawsitivity Patrol merchandise such as mugs, shirts, stickers, and other items through our online shop, which is fulfilled through Shopify. Payments are processed securely through our store checkout via Stripe. Orders are subject to availability and acceptance, and live stock levels are shown on each product. We ship items to the address you provide at checkout — please double check it. Shipping times are estimates and may vary due to carrier delays or other factors outside our control. Once your order ships, you can follow it on our Track Your Order page. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery for unworn, unused items in their original condition — contact us at support@pawsitivitypatrol.com to start a return and we'll arrange a refund or exchange. If an item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days with photos and details so we can make it right.
8. Website Use and Content
You agree to use the site for lawful purposes only, not attempt to damage or disrupt the site or payment systems, and not upload or send abusive, hateful, or inappropriate content. All logos, designs, photos, videos, text, and graphics on this site are owned by us or used with permission. You may not copy, sell, or reproduce our content for commercial use without our written permission.
9. Privacy Basics
We collect information that you provide, such as your name, email, address, and order details when you donate, sign up, or buy merch. We use this information to manage donations, send rewards, process orders, send notifications you opt into, and communicate with you. We do not sell your personal information to other companies. We do our best to keep our site accurate and up to date, but information, prices, rewards, and offerings may change. We do not guarantee specific outcomes, events, or schedules. The website and all content are provided "as is" without any express or implied warranties.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site or participation in our activities after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
